London - Excerpt from Chris Crush (Love scenes) - rated M - by ym4yum1 [Fanfiction] [AO3]
Nothing could’ve prepared Steve for the sight of Natasha.
Dancing for him, she was a vision of scarlet glory.
Her auburn hair was tied up in a bun by a lace, showing off her gorgeous face and the creamy flesh of her neck. A tight-fitting velvet corset was laced over her floating silk dress, emphasizing her tiny waist and ample cleavage. Her well-toned legs were exposed through a deep slit up to the thigh, which parted whenever she twirled them around, up and down, in perfect synchrony with the piano tunes. All in bloody red, except for pearl satin ballet shoes.
Performing on pointe, she was the epitome of everything delicate and feminine.
Images: Scarlett Johansson (Harper’s Bazaar) & ‘Ballerina in Red' from Russian realist artist Anna Vinogradova (Viola).

This is an outstanding Romanogers story!!! It is a tremendous depiction of the heights of the endearing love between Steve and Natasha and the depths of their heated passion! Exceptionally well written, beautifully poetic and absolutely thrilling!

Thank you, all! xoxo Mari

Chapter 3: The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond - Excerpt from Chris Crush by ym4yum1 [Fanfiction] [AO3]
Thousands of things pass through Steve’s mind, but only one matters – she’s uncomfortable and he can’t see her that way. So, he invites her, “Aren’t you hungry? Wanna try the best milkshake in Brooklyn?”
She lightens up instantly, and replies playfully, “How do you know it’s the best?”
His boyish smile is captivating, “I bet you that it is.”
Steve takes Natasha to a soda shop in his childhood neighborhood. Among classic burgers and homemade French fries, he gets surprised when she leans over and picks one of his straws to taste his favorite milkshake. She acts as if it’s not a big deal, but he thinks it’s like the malt-shop-date-scene he always dreamed to have. Looking like a child, he asks excitedly, “Well, what do you think?”
"C’mom, c’mon, don’t rush a sophisticated palate…" Focused on the task ahead of her, she savors the sweet taste and thick texture, drinking slowly, before agreeing, "Wow! You win, Steve. My work for S.H.I.E.L.D. has taken me all over the world, and that is, without a doubt, not just the best milkshake in Brooklyn… but on the whole darn planet."
The joy in his face is undeniable, “Told you, Natasha. There’s a reason this place has been open since I was a kid… way back before World War Two. Of course in those days the malteds were just a nickel…”
They’re sitting in front of each other, and she can’t help but gaze at him. He looks so irresistibly happy that she doesn’t want the moment to end. “And you had to walk uphill both ways to go to school, right?” Her green eyes shine, staring intently into him, as he tells stories about his childhood.
